Oh Prom, a right of passage every student dreams of. Here at Morgan Creek we host several proms each spring. This past weekend we held Vista Del Lago’s Secret Garden themed Senior Ball. With close to 400 guests we were able to use all of our pavilion, patio and ceremony space to create a magical atmosphere for a night they will never forget.
Vista Del Lago is lucky to have an amazing group of parents that spent the entire day decorating and preparing the room. Every inch of our event space was decked out in adorable decorations, even our bathrooms! It was amazing to see how quickly the space transformed into a beautiful Secret Garden.
The ceremony tent transformed into a dance floor with beautiful views overlooking the golf course and pond. We had two buffets stationed outside on the patio with plenty of room for the students to line up around. The use of two buffets works great for larger groups like this and makes it so everyone gets to eat and enjoy their meal in a timely fashion.
Their colors were so fun and vibrant! Each table had a colorful centerpiece including flowers or birdcages with small trinkets surrounding them such as, porcelain rabbits and birds, gold skeleton keys and framed quotes with phrases like “Wherever life plants you, bloom with grace.”
Vista Del Lago has been coming to Morgan Creek for their Senior ball for several years and we look forward to working with them again next year!
